Lisa Laub
Office Accountant
Lisa is a bit of a self-professed geek (well, more than a bit, she admits), and her finest accomplishment in life has been raising a wonderful daughter.
Attending the University of Colorado-Boulder and Metropolitan State College in Denver, Lisa is a Certified Legal Manager through the Association of Legal Administrators. She started out with the intention of becoming a paralegal, but when she got a job at a law firm performing accounting duties, she knew she’d found her niche. Her second law firm was so impressed with her that when the Controller left the firm, they hired Lisa immediately as the replacement.
What else makes Lisa a great fit for her job? She genuinely likes people and cares a great deal about our clients. She wants them to be as happy as possible during a sometimes difficult and emotional journey.
When Lisa interviewed for our firm, she enjoyed her conversation with the founder, Scott David Stewart, and felt that she was in sync with his philosophies. She enjoys the happy, hard-working team at the firm, especially since everyone is dedicated to client satisfaction.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys reading and is into movies – particularly action films like “Terminator,” “Star Trek,” and “Die Hard.” Her favorite TV shows are “Longmire” and the miniseries, “John Adams.” As for sports, she follows Denver Broncos football.
Lisa’s favorite quote is by Charles Dickens: “A loving heart is the truest wisdom.”
