Fernando is not your average intake specialist—he’s a dynamic individual with a knack for making connections and understanding people on a deeper level. With a background that spans from the halls of high school to the realms of community college and now onto further education at Estrella Community College pursuing an Associates in History, Fernando brings a unique perspective to the table.

Though academia might not have been his strongest suit, Fernando has never shied away from challenges. In fact, he and his partner once clinched 10th place in a Stock Market Competition, catapulting them all the way to an International DECA Competition in Nashville, TN. If that’s not a testament to his tenacity, I don’t know what is!

Fernando’s life has been peppered with interesting and sometimes bizarre experiences. From battling COVID four times—earning him the affectionate nickname “COVID version of Thanos”—to spraining his left ankle three times in a two-month span while playing football, he’s certainly had his fair share of ups and downs.

But beyond his personal adventures, Fernando is deeply rooted in his community. Whether it’s donating old clothes to charity, participating in church events in Avondale, or spending quality time with his extensive family, Fernando understands the value of giving back.

When he’s not busy making a positive impact in his community, Fernando can be found indulging in his various interests. From reading and gaming to building computers and installing stereo systems in his car, he’s a man of many talents. And let’s not forget his newest titles: Father of three dogs and Grandfather to five puppies!

In the realm of entertainment, Fernando’s tastes are eclectic, ranging from the mind-bending action of The Matrix Trilogy to the heartwarming hilarity of The Office. And when it comes to sports, he’s all about the adrenaline rush of boxing, UFC, and football.

Around the office, Fernando is known for his larger-than-life personality. He’s not afraid to speak his mind and is always ready to lend a helping hand.
