Suzanne Charles
Paralegal
Suzanne brings patience, resilience, and a serious DIY spirit to the legal field. With a background that spans nursing and criminal justice, she’s always been driven to help people navigate challenging situations—and her experience in family law is rooted in hands-on work with attorneys during pro bono projects for Jewish Family & Community Services and local domestic violence shelters.
Suzanne’s professional journey started early—she graduated high school ahead of schedule and jumped straight into career-focused education. Her approach to work is grounded, no-nonsense, and refreshingly adaptable. Raised mostly around male cousins, and now a proud boy mom to two teenage sons and one adult son (plus all-male dogs, naturally), Suzanne has developed the kind of patience and thick skin that make her thrive in high-pressure environments. She takes pride in her ability to stay calm, communicate clearly, and support clients with understanding and empathy—even when the pressure’s on.
Outside of work, Suzanne stays busy in all the best ways. She’s deeply involved in her sons’ lives, supporting their JROTC commitments, helping them prepare for milestones like driving, and road-tripping across the country. One of their most memorable adventures? A car trip all the way to northern Washington. Next stop: New York.
Suzanne is also a creative at heart. She loves working on crafts, watching movies (The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, Good Will Hunting, and The Town are favorites), diving into true crime and psychology theories, and hunting down great Thai food—RIP to her favorite spot, Thai’d Up in downtown Phoenix.
Around the office, she’s known for her quick wit (“Call me anything, just don’t call me late to dinner!”) and her ability to take feedback without flinching. She’s not just here to do the job—she’s here to do it well, and with heart. If you’re looking for someone who can juggle legal deadlines, teenage drivers, and a glue gun with equal skill, Suzanne’s your go-to.
