Rhonda Hopper

A rare gem, paralegal Rhonda Hopper is a third generation native Arizonan. With so many of her family members calling The Grand Canyon State “home,” it’s no surprise she found a like-minded match in her husband, also Arizona born and raised.

Rhonda joined Stewart Law Group in 2019. She is an honors graduate with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies (2011) from Phoenix College.

Why choose family law? Rhonda understands how difficult divorce proceedings are for clients, frequently “one of the hardest things they go through in life.” She connects with people and puts them at ease, making her a perfect fit for our team. “I feel privileged and honored to be part of each client’s journey” through the family court process.

Immediately upon meeting, clients acknowledge Rhonda’s competence and can-do attitude. “I am direct, honest, and trustworthy,” she smiles, “you can always count on me.” Ever optimistic, Rhonda is always prepared to assist clients through their legal challenges.

Community spirited, Rhonda volunteers at the information booth for the City of Glendale during festival season. Her real motive? She just loves festivals, especially Glendale’s magical holiday light display.

Rhonda does some phenomenal recycling, too. With patience, a pair of scissors, a fat crochet hook, and a lot of plastic grocery bags, she creates personal comfort zones for those who truly appreciate having something softer than concrete to rest on. One of her favorite volunteer roles is making plastic sleeping mats for the homeless in greater Phoenix, including homeless veterans. Don’t be surprised if a ball of “plarn” (plastic yarn) is sitting on her desk at the law office.

Her favorite musical is “My Fair Lady,” a sharp contrast from Rhonda’s all-time favorite series – “Game of Thrones.” Drawn to the Pacific Ocean and sandy beaches, her Hawaii vacation with hubby is something they both hope to repeat, and soon. As a favorite family vacation destination, Rhonda’s pick is Carlsbad, California, where she spent many a youthful summer with her grandparents.

Someone who enjoys hiking and has a love of gardening, she doesn’t shy from adventure. In her own “Cops” moment, she did a ride-along with Phoenix Police in their helicopter. Still, her happiest times are spent at home with family and friends. What could possibly beat a Saturday poolside BBQ surrounded by loved ones?
