Lisa Seely

Paralegal

Lisa brings a rare blend of real-world experience, practical insight, and deep empathy to her role as a paralegal. She began her legal career in 2009 after being offered a paralegal position by an attorney who recognized her natural aptitude for the work. Since then, Lisa has continued to grow through hands-on experience, ongoing research, and mentorship from an attorney who became both a professional guide and close friend.

Although she didn’t follow a traditional academic path, Lisa had long dreamed of working in the legal field. When the opportunity arose, she embraced it fully. As a mother of eight, she understands firsthand the emotional and practical realities families face during difficult transitions, allowing her to connect with clients in a compassionate yet grounded way while helping manage expectations with honesty and clarity.

Over the years, Lisa has encountered just about every situation imaginable including an unforgettable hearing where an opposing party claimed he didn’t need to check emails because he hadn’t given permission to receive them, which ended with him being escorted out in handcuffs. Experiences like these have sharpened her courtroom awareness and reinforced the importance of preparation and accountability.

Outside of work, Lisa is deeply committed to family and community. She fostered and later adopted her two youngest children and is a passionate supporter of organizations such as Make-A-Wish, Children’s Cancer Research, and the Batten Disease Support and Research Association. She enjoys audiobooks, crime dramas, hiking in the White Tank Mountains, cooking and baking, hosting family dinners, and spoiling her grandbabies.

What truly sets Lisa apart is her ability to make clients feel heard, supported, and understood during some of life’s most challenging moments. Her steady demeanor, compassion, and practical experience make her a trusted advocate and valued member of the team.
